Many congregations and pastors know it is valuable to have a web presence. Often they need assistance in building and maintaining a web page. I am offering that assistance.

I retired after 40+ years as a pastor and I now assist congregations to create and maintain their web pages. You can enter the world of the internet and enjoy sharing the message of your congregation with the world! Many young adults search for a church on the internet, and examine it's web page before they actually walk into it's sanctuary. If you don't have a web page, they will go somewhere else.

The Process:

  • Your congregation designates one individual as a contact person (pastor, staff member or lay person) for our work together.
  • It is essential this person be comfortable with frequent and timely email contact.
  • As we develop your web pages, the contact person forwards your information to me, prints my comments/requests and shares them with you and/or your team.
  • You may have a team/committee discuss the issues involved and report the conclusions to me through the contact person.
  • I will help you clarify your needs and goals for a web presence.
  • We will identify the nature and gifts of your unique congregation and the audience you wish to reach.
  • I will provide examples of pages for your consideration and we will agree upon the design and content.
  • When we reach an agreement, I will design a "Home" page and a number of linked pages, as outlined in our discussion.
  • You and/or your team will examine those pages and prepare a final written list of changes.
  • I will make those changes and we will celebrate the creation of your web page as it is posted on the internet. If needed, I will assist you in purchasing a domain name and web space for your congregation.

What about cost?

If you wish, a fee can be negotiated, or an honorarium will be acceptable.
The goal is to provide your congregation with a useful web page, not to provide me with income.
